Having a hobby is awesome - Having a hobby that takes over your home - not so awesome. As a kid, I loved building all sorts of models. Over the years, the models grew as I did. By the time I was in my own home with a family, the planes, cars and spaceships that I was building took over the entire basement. Now, this was an okay location for them for a while, but soon my kids began requiring more space in the house. That is when I started using a storage unit up the road as my hobby shack.
